How long will the course last?
The length of the course varies from driver to driver.
Everyone learns to drive at their own pace so no-one can say how many lessons any particular person will need.
I’ll closely monitor your driving during each lesson and give you an honest assessment of your progress towards taking the Practical Test.
Practice
There is no substitute for learning car control skills and how to deal with different road situations with a professional driving instructor before going to private practice. I will advise you what and where to practice (providing you have access to a suitable vehicle).
You must be supervised by a driver who is at least 21 years of age, and has held (and still holds) a full EC/EEA licence for at least 3 years for the category of vehicle you are practicing in. Practice on as many different types of roads as you can and in all sorts of traffic conditions. Even in the dark and on dual carriageways where the upper speed limit applies.
