Bradshaw School of Motoring is pleased to offer, in addition to the basic course for beginners, a wide range of driving tuition courses as detailed below. If your requirements are not covered here you should contact me and I will be pleased to help you with anything related to driving.
Motorway Driving
As soon as you pass your driving test you are legally allowed to drive on the motorway system. But are you ready for it? Whilst I utilise the dual carriageways to familiarise pupils with driving at higher speeds, there is no substitute for actually driving on motorways. As the M62 is the easiest way to the rest of the country, you will soon experience motorway driving. So to ensure the safety of both you and your passengers you should have your first drive with a fully qualified instructor who will teach you the correct method of dealing with high speed driving.
An hour or two of motorway lessons will give you the experience necessary to drive safely and it may save your life.
Refresher Lessons
If you’ve passed your driving test but haven’t driven for a while then I can help you regain your confidence and have you back behind the wheel quickly. Just an hour or two of professional driver training can work wonders for your confidence. I will get you started in a quiet environment and gradually take you into busy areas. Your confidence will build until you are happy to drive unaccompanied. I'm very experienced and will take things at your pace and will never rush you.
From Abroad?
Maybe you don’t have a legal obligation to take a driving test but don’t feel comfortable driving in this country. If so, let me take you out in a dual controlled car until you gain confidence.
Pass Plus
The Pass Plus course has been created by the Driving Standards Agency in association with leading Insurance Companies. It is designed to make newly qualified drivers become better drivers.
The Pass Plus course consists of six modules :-
- Introduction to town driving
- All weather driving
- Out of town driving and rural roads
- Dual carriageway driving
- Night driving
- Motorway driving
At the completion of your Pass Plus course I will notify the DSA of your success and you will receive a certificate. This certificate can then be presented to one of the participating Insurance Companies to receive a discount which will normally more than cover the cost of the Pass Plus course.
Need help with parking?
If you are not very good at parking let me give you advice and instruction until you become proficient.
Taxi Training
The taxi test assessment requires specialist training and taxi drivers should not expect to drive like a good learner. The taxi training will assist all experienced drivers to develop their skills, which will greatly improve their ability to pass the taxi test assessment which includes carrying out an emergency stop plus two manoeuvres one of which is a taxi manoeuvre and some gabology questions.
Intensive Courses
A pupil can usually obtain a driving licence much quicker by taking an intensive course with Bradshaw School of Motoring.
